Day 2: After the breakfast, when the horses are saddled, we cross the Cochamo river. We keep riding through the rainforest, crossing rivers and open spaces. We have a rest for lunch before watching Alerces, 3000 year old trees.Dinner and night at the public refugio of the Arco.

Photo album Horse riding PackhorsesDay 1: After an introduction on the ride and our horses, we leave Cochamo following the sea and the Cochamo river.After 3 hours, we lunch at the Piedra river.The ride continues in the valdivian forest before arriving to an open space in the middle of the granite mountains. Dinner and night at the Refugio.
Day 4: Direction Torrentoso. Reaching our destination, we will meet real huasos and we’ll be able to set up camp beside a stream of crystal clear water. A small hike will guide us to some rock paintings that very few people have had the privilege to see. Dinner by campfire and a night under a tent.

Day 3 : The road becomes steeper today, we will be in the middle of the Cordillera, under a dense forest. We will have breakfast on Grande Lake (Lago Grande) beach, and then continue until the El Arco Shelter where you will be able to find trees that are over 3000 years old. El Arco has gotten its name from a naturally formed arc of rocks that towers over a waterfall. Dinner and night by a campfire in the shelter.
Southern Trips
Day 5: To arrive to the village of el León, we follow the Manso river until we arrive to the first meadows, which indicate the beginning of el Leon. Vegetation starts changing and so do the mountains. We will have lunch together before saying "good bye" in front of the frontier Chile-Argentina.
