Day 2: After the breakfast, when the horses are saddled, we cross the Cochamo river. We then keep riding through the rainforest, crossing rivers and open spaces. We will then rest for lunch before watching Alerces, 3000 years old trees.Dinner and night at the public refugio of the Arco.

About us ConditionsDay 4: We leave after breakfast to enjoy the entire day. We follow the path through the native forest, you may observe chucaos or hummingbirds. We will then finish our trek by having lunch at the Piedra river before arriving at Cochamó.
Day 1: After an introduction on the ride and our horses, we leave Cochamó following the sea and the Cochamó river.After 3 hours, we lunch at the Piedra river.The ride continues in the valdivian forest before arriving to an open space in the middle of the granite mountains. Dinner and night at the Refugio.

Further than La Junta (5-6 hours) is the Arco (arch). Its name comes from the fact that a waterfall flows down natural stones shaped as an arch.On the top of it a young Alerce holds court among the old ones. The Alerce is a protected specie, they are one of the biggest and oldest (more than 3.000 years old) trees in the world.In this area you will be able to fish, to discover another impressive waterfall after a 40min trek and to watch the stars in the darkness of the native forest. The public refuge was built in 2001 by Favián, his father and a friend of them. In the middle of the "fogón" (fire place), we will get warm and cook like the real gauchos!
